Winxp32 Security Alert? AIM not working?

I have two ethernet cable ports in the back of my motherboard. So when I pulled all the wires out to do some work in the case, I must have put the wire back in the wrong one (Well, I know I did) and now AIM doesn't work and every damn website gives me a security alert! AIM won't connect. It says, "Connection Failed."

I put the ethernet cable back in the one it was originally in, and it still does it. I disconnected power to the modem and router, and still does it. What gives? How do I fix this?

I can't figure this out! I saw an option in the network connections settings for that connection for EAP Type and I unchecked it. Still makes me click before entering websites!

AIM still won't "Configure!" God damn it! Why the hell is this happening! hahaha
