Wiped my Hard drive......

Wiped my Hard drive,with a simple wipe. Computer shut down during wipe now when I turn it on I get a the start screen only. is this typical??

Start screen? What do you mean?

If you actually wiped your drive it should get a disk boot error or NTLDR is missing error.

Keyboard failure

strike f1 to retry boot, f2 for setup utility

During the wipe the computer shut down and now when I turn it on I get this.

You have to reinstall Windows.
