Wiping My Harddrive

I didn't really know which category to put this under, but I figured this might be the closest one. So my brother gave me a virus on my computer (isn't he nice?) and I have used at least 12 or 13 different antivirus/antispyware programs and while they always find something everytime I run each one, I still have the virus. So I have come to the conclusion that I just need to wipe my harddrive and this is where my question comes in. I have a slave drive already hooked up and I use that drive for all my PC games and I'm wondering if I wipe my c: drive will my games on my spare drive still work without having to uninstall and reinstall them once I get windows reinstalled?

it'll depend on the game. some games use the registry some don't
and you're registry is located on your c: drive.
you'll have to figure it out afterwards.

And I take it there is no easy way to tell which games use the c: drive registry is there?

nope like i said, you'll have to figure out which ones work and which ones don't afterward
