Wiping my Samsung SSD w/ parted magic

Would like to wipe Windows of my Samsung pro SSD.
Right now all that is on this SSD is my Win 10 OS.

Anything I should know before I use parted magic to fully erase y Samsung SSD?

Do I have to delete or uninstall any programs 1st? Or just erasing it all will tae care of all of that for me, right?

***Want to go Linux Mint route
*** Not interested in a dual boot. All in or nothing....

Don't bother just repartition the drive when installing mint.

There's no reason to introduce a full drives capacity of writes in this situation
