wireless adapter connecting but only local no internet

i have a wmp 54g linksys wireless pci adapter vers. 4.1 ive tried uninstaling the driver, moved the adapter to a diff pci slot nothing,

the router is not the problem i have a couple other computers that connect fine its just mine that i cant get to work and its bugging me cause thats all i have at home when i leave tomorrow hopefully and i need to get online when im there

Your card is not connecting fully to the router. IF you are not getting internet, I would think you told the router to mac address filter, or the ip poll is not large enough. If you dont know what Im talking about and you setup the router, then it is no the problem.

The LINKSYS program for connecting to the internet might be the problem, it is very buggy and has a memory leak. Uninstall it if you your are using it and use Window's Wireless Configuration.

yeah try Whiteyyyyy's idea but if it doesn't work try reinstalling the program and check linksys on the computers that do have internet to see if there is any firmware update that "might" help, if nothing still shows up you might want to e-mail them, tell them how you set up your things and they should reply anywhere from 2 days to a week or somewhere there
