Oh yeah, how come? I am really thinking about purchasing the belkin unit (two of them). The only thing is, I am not sure how long the USB cable is. Hopefully its longer than two feet. The clock is ticking and im sure this deal is going to expire soon.:o

This is just me. I would stay away from USB network cards. I used to do home and small business pc / network repair. Just about everyone that had a USB WIFI card had trouble. I would use the pci card wifi.

Belkin has always been shit for me. Well sort of, I have a my essential (belkin) usb wifi dongle (not the same as yours). It constantly lost signal for me and i could of fried some eggs on the casing of the thing. So I went and did what any other computer literate tightwad would of done, I broke the casing of it and now I have a slightly bent piece of silicon with a flashing green LED on it that is hanging slight to the right of monitor (only area where it actually gets any signal). But it rules in it's current state. Oh and i had an el cheapo belkin router. Crapped out in 3 months. I'm sure your experience would be better than mine though.

It was between the two....and now that I am thinking of it...maybe the PCI card would have been better...plus it had like a 6ft cable.:)

Hopefully this belikin unit is okay...I purchased it Friday night, before these posts. I will post when I have the devices and set-up complete. As of the reviews I found, most were positive. The USB cable hopefully is a few feet. We'll see.

The wireless reception has gotten so bad. I remember back about 9 years ago when all there was was 802.11b. Wireless was a snap. Now everyone has wireless for their PC's, toys , who knows what else operates on the same freq as 802.11g....I finally got this for my house to use inside... works great

...you have to make , or buy some of the cables. I had to make the N rg-58 to N rg-58 and the N RG-58 to SMA-RP F cables using LMR-195 cable. If you do not want to make the cables you can buy them. you will need a hex crimper of the righr size.

Thanks for the link. I'm on a budget but we'll see how the belkin works. We should all be on fiber optic:D

Works like a champ!

I see tonight that the Belikin unit is $39.99, and I got it for only $12.99 with shipping at $2.00...how can you beat that?

I wish I bought three more!
