Hey, I have an old IBM I put windows 7 on. The IBM has a Belkin Wireless G Desktop Adapter.

So yeah I plug it in and it's not getting recognized, yes I have tried downloading drivers.

Could anyone show me exactly what I have to do?

What happens when you download and try installing the drivers?

What model is the adapter?

There should be a version number on the card and you would have to download the appropriate driver on that page.

What are the system specs of the old IBM. How much memory is installed and what processor are you using?

Ver.7000

The thing is, I'm positive it can utilize the card. Before Windows 7 I had Ubuntu installed and it picked up the card almost immediately.

I'll look more into the drivers.

Hold on, I got it to work!

Thanks a lot, you reminded me of something that I apparently needed to do!

Much thanks, you may close this now.
