wireless adapter will not find a network some one help please

I have a belkin wireless b adapter on my computer and it works but wont find a network all the other computers in the house are fine except mine. what should I do

How far away is your computer from the rest of the computers? If your wireless adapter has an external antenna, try moving it to a higher position.

Is it a usb adapter or pci card?

I would get a pci wireless adapter, they tend to work a lot better. Plus you will get better reception with an antenna.

Is it one of these things?

If you look on the side you should be able to find the model number (F5Dxxxx or something like that).

Also what OS are you using and what anti-virus?

Maybe try reseting your adapter or change its settings by going to either FF or IE and entering your IP address in the search bar like this: http://xxx.xxx.xxx

* number of "x" 's might vary, depends on your IP address.
