Wireless Adapter?

Newegg has this wireless adapter card for sale, but I'm not entirely sure what I have to check to make sure it's compatible.

My motherboard has 2 PCI Express x1 slots, so I know the card will fit. But is there anything else I should check before buying it?

My Wireless router is a Linksys, Wireless G 2.4 Ghz.

Thanks.

Thanks!

Yeah, the router is on the top floor of my house, and the computer in question will be one floor down (with walls in between). My PS3, which is TWO floors down, connects fine to the wifi (or when I'm using my laptop two floors away), but the one you suggested would be beneficial anyway, I'm sure.

So the wireless G/Wireless N doesn't matter?

Thanks again :D

Usb wireless adapters tend to be buggy and again, if you are gonna be a fair distance away from the router then you really don't want a usb adapter. You really need something that you can move to get better reception. I've used the adapters I linked you to with the router being on the next floor and still get excellent signal, but thats with using linksys wrt54g (the blue ones with the antennae on them) series routers.

Okay, thanks. Yeah, reading some reviews of even the best USB ones, there seem to be a handful of people who say they cut in and out.
