Hey guys, My brother just moved into a new flat and there are many spread around computers there... mostly laptops im guessing so he wants a Wireless ADSL router so all his flatmate buddies can all link up to the internet and share files and whatnot... He wanted somthing thats easy to use and gives great coverage and reception because he is pretty computer illiterate so somthing very technical wouldn't be very useful to him... Also I was thinking somthing along the D-Link line? I've got one at home and it works fine... So yeah Any suggestons would be very very appricatied since he need the adsl router asap! And also the fact that I don't know much about wireless routers... :) Thanks for reading

To be honest, I can't spot the difference between a famous brand rounter or a cheap one.

Just make sure they are fast enough, e.g. support ADSL2+, upto 108Mbps (54Mbs is "standard"), etc.

Sweet Thanks a bunch! My brother already was looking at a Netgear router... :) So I may go with that then... Thanks for your help... But if anyone else wants to add another good ADSL router go ahead :)

Homenet, Do you have to have adaptors to make the NETGEAR product work? Cause I just checked on pricespy.co.nz and its going to cost $80 for the adaptors!

Oh and also does that netgear product work with ADSL ?

One other thing the laptops can already view each other's shared folders this means that they already have a built in aerial's aye?

Thanks :)
