Wireless card problems

Hi everyone, I need your help. I have just purchased a Belkin wireless card for my laptop, and installed it successfully, but unfortunately I cant seem to find any networks when I search, despite me having an orange livebox in the house.

When I right click on the Belkin icon on my desktop and click on properties, it says that the device is working properly, so i dont know why it cant find any wirless networks to connect too.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what is going on? Any help would be most appreciated, thanks!! :(

Try going to Control Panels and network connections and see if the wireless card is on the list. Also, Make sure it is Enabled. Do you see any thing on the toolbar?

Yes the wireless card is on the list and it is enabled, so i dont know why it cant find any networks. Any suggestions?! Im at my wits end

Ive got another problem now, I can find my wireless network, and when I click on connect, it says that my network is working smoothly, but the little belkin icon at the bottom says that im not connected. When I launch internet explorer, i can get onto the msn home page, but cant access any other sites. Strange eh!!
