Wireless Card won't install?

I just wiped xp and went to Win7. the Linksys WMP54G .v4 will not install correctly. i have the latest drivers from the cisco/linksys website. the install goes through the steps properly and asks me to shutdown and insert card. but when i reboot the promised autoreload of the install software never comes back up. any ideas??
 
Try to read the troubleshooting of the card. Are you sure that you have the drivers which fits to Win7? If yes when I guess try to do it with WinXP if it works when I guess your Win7 drivers generates the failure.
 
hmm. seems i'm not the only having issues with this card not having Win7 drivers on linksys' website. i found the drivers for the actuall maker of the card, Ralink "PCI/mPCI/CB (RT2500)" but after installing them it still wont work.

anyone have some more ideas??
