Wireless Card

Hi, I'm a casual gamer, and am wondering how little I can spend on a wireless card. Ive read many reviews and it seems like regardless of price people still report monster lag and others are fine.

well, wireless access just doesn't have as much bandwidth capabilities as good old fashioned wired connections. wireless can be best described as a temporary situation for gaming. you're best to go with the more reliable wired connection. wireless is good for surfing but not much more.

right now, I have a macbook, with an airport extreme wireless card and it did a fine job with very little lag. I'm not sure where this card is on the spectrum but whatever the quality of this card is, is what I suppose I'm looking for when building my new PC
