Hi all,

I have windows xp home and internet explorer 7. I have a usb wireless card on my pc. It shows that the computer is connected "very good" to my wireless connection. But when I bring up IE7 it says "page cannot be displayed", what is the deal? I reinstalled IE7. And the wireless internet works on other computers, but they have different cards. It is an HP desktop computer. what is the deal?? Thanks.

try this,
Got to start and click run
type cmd and hit enter
in the command prompt type "ping google.com" and see if it gets a reply
if that does not work try "ping 192.168.1.1" and tell us if that works

Thanks guys, I am going to buy another usb card for the internet and see if that helps. The card that I have in there is an old D-Link. If a new card does not work I can try ping the server, does this get it going or just see if it is connecting?

tryed pinging and it didnt connect or get anything back. Bought a new usb wirless card and that didnt work. So I restored the computer back about a month. Connected to the internet now!! Thanks for the suggestions.
