Wireless Connection (UK)

At home we use a standard wired broadband connection (cable/telewest). We just use this on one computer with just the cable modem plugged into the computer and the modem directly connected to the Internet.

How would I go about setting up a wireless connection using the cable modem? Would I still be able to have a wired connection to my home computer if the wireless router was plugged into it?

Cheers
Ben

have no idea

i'm using wifi connection that need a huge 25 meter tall tower and share it to people in neighbourhood up to 1 km all wireless.

Yes you could still have a wired connection to your computer if you a get a router with ethernet (wired) ports on it aswell.

Just get a wireless router and plug the cable modem into the wireless modem, then take a wire from one of the ports on your router and plug it into your computer you want to be wired, then you're all set. Hope that made sense, I suck at explaining things.
