wireless file and internet sahring!!!

Hey people! We have four laptops and 2 desktop in our apartment :-). we are connected to internet through wireless. Now, i was wondering how do we share a file. being specific, is it possible to play a game with in those six computers together like Counter strike? I did it on LAN network but dont have idea on wireless. On LAN, we used to setup a workgrup and share the file over the network, but i cannot find anything like that. I think if we are sharing the internet through the same router then we should be able to see each other and share file or game together is not it. Also, we have Vista in five and XP on one is it possible. Just give me little hints....plz :confused:
 
It works exactly the same regardless of how the computers are connected. Just be sure your are all in the same work group. It helps to run the network set up wizard on each pc as well. Then you can see the other computers shared files. As long as you know the IP address of each computer on the network you should have no problem playing multiplayer games like counter strike and others.
