wireless internet

i have a wireless cable modem router.
on the laptop i have an inbuilt wireless card. i go to "view available wireless networks", i see the network I needed. I go to it, enter my WAP/WEPA key, and it says waiting for network for about 1 minute. eventually it can't connect. this has suddenly happened, everything was fine before. so any ideas. (Windows XP SP2)

thank you for your time.

We had this happen at my girlfriends house. Shut down desktop and laptop. Turned off router and modem. Turned on modem and waited for all to light up, then turned on router and waited for all to light, then desktop and laptop. Like the others said, just restarting everything, but I'm not sure if the sequence matters or not.

Thanks a lot for the responses.
Just how do you access router settings & change the mac address filtering of the network weaponsguy, thanks.
