Wireless Keyboards..

Ok,..need some oppionions. Am needing a new keyboard and mouse. Not sure if I should go wireless..or stay with wires. Are wireless keyboards pretty secure??? Am thining of staying with wire keyboard,,but then moving to wireless laser mouse...Any advice is appreciated!!! Thanks!

There are pros anc cons to each, if you play games a lot, i heard that wireless keyboards and mice can be pretty laggy and have slow response times, and that the battaries die quickly. THe pros about them are that you can keep your desk cleaner with no wires, and you could use your keyboard from around your room. It really depends what you plan to use mainly for.

I have a wireless keyboard and mouse and love them... It gives me a bit more freedome if I want to be lazy or move my stuff for my laptop

Of course you'll have problems when the batteries start to run out, but if others are as good as my Microsoft Optical Desktop, it's been running strong for around a month now. The drivers also have something that shows how much power they have left... Donno how accurate it would be...

If you are going to LAN party it is a bad idea because if other people have them they will interfere with each other. Although you can fix that somewhat.

An optical mouse is really nice but only if you have one with a recharger (the mx 700 is my favorite).

I have never see the point of a wireless keybord. Replacing batteries can get expensive and when the batteries are low you run into all sorts of interesting problems.
