I am looking for a wireless network card for my laptop computer. I need one with excellent range and a fast connection. what kind of card should i be looking for ? Any manufacturer i should stay away from ?

to get the best possible, you have to spend as much as you can afford. the more you spend on wireless stuff the better the quality seems to be!
 
Hey, if you want a basic Linksys card, my friend got one for her laptop, but we decided to ditch the project because we couldn't find RAM that'd work in it. So...it's a card that's been used like 3 times... Basic 54G.

Send me a PM if you're interested and I'll ask if she's looking to sell it and for how much. I know we thought about including it with her laptop as an incentive so who knows...
 
I was looking at the Belkin Pre-N card. Cnet give a great review, plus, i currently use a Belkin wireless modem so they should compliment each other well. Any of you guys had any experience with this card ?

i havent had experience with that card, but i also have a Belkin router, Desktop card and USB stick and they all work fine, Belkin is meant to be one of the best out there, so if you want it, i would go with that :D
