I have just purchased a new flat. I am planning to place my desktop computer in the spare room, against a wall directly on the other side will be my Plasma.

I want to be purchase a wireless mouse and keyboard so I can use my PC in the living room on the TV. However I am concerned that the wireless mouse/keyboard range with be insufficient and whether this may be to far away from the PC

It depends how thick the wall is, what type of wall (brick, wood etc) and the quality of your wireless keyboard and mouse. I'd say it would work fine with a good quality mouse and keyboard. Use the microsoft branded ones, they have never failed me so far.

Your only real problem would be batteries. Get some good recgargeables.

They should work without a problem. Microsoft is the best brand out their for wireless computer products. I have had mine wireless keyboard and mouse for over 6 years now. Works perfectly, even numerous of drops.
