hi, my friend just bought a wireless mouse, installed the drivers etc.
but when he moves the mouse it moves on his dads laptop too(who also has a wireless mouse) is there a way how to block this connection, or whatever it is?

By the sounds of it they are both on the same RF (radio frequency).

If you can, try repairing one set (mice + receiver).

Pairing

Pairing is the process of coordinating your mouse's transmitter with your mouse's receiver. It requires both parts to operate on the same frequencies, usually by using the same identification code. Pairing takes place to try to eliminate interference. Some devices automatically pair both devices at start up; others need to be manually paired.

If you still have a problem tell us what make and model the mice is and we will look deeper into the problem.

EDIT: Oh and welcome to the forum :)

thanks!

p.s. how do i repair the set (im not good with mouses and keyboards stuff^^)

Usually done with the pairing buttons (one on the mouse and one on the receiver). If you have the manual that come with the set then read through that for a fuller explanation.

he has a usb bluetooth reciever sorry forgot to mention that
In that case you can give bluetooth devices a four digit key. Can I ask you what Operating system you are running?

If you navigate to Control panel then double click Bluetooth devices it will open up a window. In the Devices tab select the mouse and click properties. In the properties you should be given a option to use a PIN code for the mouse. Do that and it should stop the conflict with your other PC.
