Okay, from what I've learned about wireless N is that it has like a 300 m range, can do either use 2.4 or 5 bandwidth, and that each device on the network runs off its own bandwidth...is this correct?

also, i want to buy the router..so will i have to buy wireless n adapters to really get the improvements of N or since wireless n is backwards compatible, will it make a difference?

If you want to utilize the faster speeds and longer range of 802.11n, then yes every device on your network must have a compatible 802.11n wireless card.

It might not be a bad idea to wait until this summer to buy any new hardware as N is still in draft phase as you might not be aware. I've heard that the finalized version won't be compatable with draft hardware. This is just speculation but if you can wait it might not be a bad idea.
