Wireless Network.

Ok.
At work, I answer a phone at a desk.
And in the other room is a desktop computer, hooked to a 5 port ethernet router. They have a wireless network, but not for our floor. Can I, take a wireless netgear router, attach the power and an ethernet. And have wireless?

There are a few codes on the bottom of my wireless router.
Would it be an automatic hook up?

I wouldn't see why you couldn't do that. Try it and see.

Depends on the type of wired network there is, and if IP's are assigned via static or a DHCP system, but most likely, yes you could.

So the code on the bottom of the ethernet box is it?

cause theres a connected ethernet thing that looks to be a wireless box...But tried entering the codes on the bottom of that *beige wireless box*, got nothing...
