Wireless Not Working

So I am working on a Compaq Preasrio F700 laptop with vist, and the wireless will not install, will not detect it, and the switch stays amber either way I turn it. What can I try I need some help!:confused:
 
An unknown device doesn't even show up in device manager? no wireless device shows up in network adapters? Have you checked the bios to make sure that wireless is enabled?
