Wireless Power Now Very Low, Not Connecting!

Hi,

Yesterday I had a power cut and everything obviously went off. So when i booted up my machine it connected to my wireless as did my other computer with inches of the wireless router. but downstairs it can't even find the router anymore, any idea what I can do? the WLAN light on the router is just flashing once every two seconds (as if it has a delay, it flashes, pauses, then flashes very slowly).

any help would be great!

Your wireless is probably polling (like sending out a signal) mine does that when i'm not connected.

There could've been a power surge and something inside the wireless has fried and that has then caused it to fail.... and it obviously isn't sending out a strong signal anymore.....

I would carefully open it up (with the power off) and see if there is anything fried on the circuit board.
