Wireless Printing

I have a desk top running winXP. and a Laptop running win7. I have a router hooked to desktop providing WIFI.. I have an HP6940 printer I want to Run off the wifi for both computers. I cannot for the life of me get either one to print.

The printer is hooked to the Router
 
You must use the printer install cd to install the printer on every machine that you want to print from.

However, usually you have to set it up the first time by using a usb cable in order for it to get the network settings. Then you can unplug the usb cable. Just follow the instructions in the install cd and when it asks you on how you want to print to it, select network/wireless.
 
I dont have the CD. as the printer is a few years old.. I have both named the same. but dont know which port to use ..
