wireless printing

How do I set up a network between my laptop and the printer (which is connected to another computer) so that I can print from my laptop instead of e-mailing the documents to myself to recieve at the other computer to print? this is a big waste of time.

I bought a new printer a week ago, the HP Deskjet 6980, and I really like it. All I had to do, was wire the printer into the network, then just do a setup wizard on my laptop, and now it prints wirelessly. Does your printer have wireless capabilities built in? Or is it all through the router completely.

I don't think that the printer has a wireless doo hiky built in, and the only thing I have wireless is my internet which goes through a router to a PC card.
