Hey my download previously went over the limit and since i have 12g and i didn't download anything i've come to the conclusion that my wireless has been taped. I'm not home rite now so im not 100% sure but the brand for the wrieless is belkin or something along the lines of that....? I don't have the box or (if) anything the came with it.
Anyone?

Login and assign a wep key. To login go to //192.168.1.1 or //192.168.2.1
It will probably ask for an ID PW.
 
when ya do get in then goto your wireless settings tab.

encryption for wep addressing.


goto start at the lap top then run.
type in cmd. dos prompt.
type ipconfig/all
you will see ethernet adapter wireless network connection.
below that will be connection / physical address.
goto back to the router 192.168.1.1
look for something like connect control.
authorized wireless (laptop).
use the physical address as added security for
authorized laptop. this is unique to your laptop.

yes .... make sure you also use wep addressing also.
 
Yes 192.168.2.1 worked and im on the site thankyou very much hopefully the secuirty thing should be easy

Ok i clicked ' security ' and i have no idear what its talking about, Can i PM anyone?
 
Yes that what i wanted to no, THe choices i have are

WPA-PSK ( no server )
128bit WEP
64bit WEP
WPA ( with radius server )

I have no idear about the radius server, literaly dont no what it is, need more info just post.
