Wireless Question

Hello- I have a Linksys Broadband Firewall Router 4 port
switch / VPN endpoint. The braodband router is wired to
two computers. I also have a Linksys G Broadband
router. Recently a storm 'fried' the wireless router's ability
to use it in a wired capacity. But the wireless router still
puts out a wireless signal if you plug the cable modem into one
of the 4 ports on the back- the internet port is the one that is no good.
Is there a way to use the broadband firewall router and the
wireless g router in a series 'per say'- put another way can
I plug the wireless router into the broadband router ( which is connected to my modem) just to get a wireless signal in my house? I am not very technical
but any guidance or a step by step procedure would be
appreciated. r/ patrick

I'm not sure it is possible but my suggestion would be to get a new Broadband router... Can't your other wireless router do that?

if I understand correctly, you have a working firewall router that does not have wireless capabilities, and a wireless router that got zapped and doesn't work wired? You may be able to use a cross-over cable and attach the wireless router to one of the ports on the firewall router, depends on the models and exactly what got fried. I would just go get a new wireless, firewalled router.
