Wireless security key problem

Help needed please!

I am a complete novice when it comes to computers and am not patricularly techno savvy so please, go easy on the jargon; I will need an idiots guide to any help that you can offer.

I have managed to block my own computer from accessing my own wireless network. I found out that other people (next door) were using my wireless network so I attempted to set up a password to secure my network and prevent this from happening. However, being me, I opted to do this without reading up on it first, and for some reason I managed to restrict my own computer from accessingthe network. It is now asking me for my network security key, insisting that it is: "5-13 characters long or 10-26 characters long using digits 0-9 and letters A-F".

How do I find this please?

Many thanks, Modman

You can type in the key you specified (it will tell you what it is in the router). Or if it doesn't, go change it to something random. Login to the router to the same place you set the WEP key, and write it down!
