Wireless Signal Problem

Hi,

I am using Linksys Wireless-G Business PCI Adapter with RangeBooster (WMP200) with two of my desktops in my workplace. The card comes with a wireless monitor software. When I turn this software on, my wireless will get "Limit Connectivity" error. Then, I trun it back off and use Window Wireless Zero to connect to the internet. They work fine, but I noticed that one of them has a fluctuated signal. The signal keeps changing from Very Good to Bad and Bad to Very Good.

I read some threads, it said that I need to change the channel. However, I don't know how to do so in Window Wireless Zero. And by the way, I just wonder why this situation does not happen with another computer.

Thank you

Changing the channel only refers to your router, in case you were getting interference. Is the computer that's giving you trouble far from the other one? Are there any electronics or something closer to one PC than the other? Have you tried updating drivers and your wireless monitoring software?

google search for an application called "net stumbler" and download and install it. Survey your area and find out how many APs are around, and what channel they are all on. Then bump your WiFi AP at least two channels up or down to a non common channel. Most people don't change the default channel.
