wireless to lan

ok I want to pick up my wirelss signal from one side of the house and turn it into LAN for my office.. without flashing a router..

What kind of hardware would pick up wireless and have lan ports...

some access points or something???
 
I think your looking for a wireless bridge....

I suppose you could also take a laptop or any computer with a wireless card in it and a lan port and connect to the wireless and plug a router into it through the lan port and bridge the wireless and wired on the computer....

Yes, you are looking for a wireless bridge, which would convert the wireless into a wired 10/100 ethernet connection.
