Okay,

this is kinda hrd to explain so ill do my best.

I got comcast high speed internet, i bought a D-link wireless router..

and the PCI - Adapetr for the computer upstairs.. and instlaled it, when i try to put my internet connection from my modem box into the wirelss router.. i dont get no signal up stairs.. and i resetted all the IP's ect.

any ideas? thanks
 
If you dont get a signal then you need to move the router and/or computer closer, because they are too far apart or something is blocking the signal.
 
Well im down stairs and the compuetr is directly on top of me.. so maybe i should just run aline from mine .. to upstairs.. will that work? :)

If you run a cable, yes it will work.

Are you saying that you cant pick up a wireless signal, or you can, but the internet just doesnt work?
