Wirerless network

I go into the wireless network page and it says "choose a network" there are 3 or 4 of them and one of them is my wife’s so who are the others? Do they belong to my neighbors? It ask for a password which I don't have so I guess the only way is to put in another router or reset the one I have which I don't want to do because my wife’s laptop is connected to it and I don't want to screw it up so I'm kind of lost.

Because the person that posted screw up. If I take a look at my wife’s laptop which is on the network is there any way I can find some information to get my laptop on the network or do I just have to reset the router?

If it's a Vista or 7 machine you can look at the saved network profiles and under security there is a tickbox for "Show Password"

Where are the save network profiles at?

network and sharing center, then on the left you will see where it says manage wireless networks or connections. Click on that.
