considering crysis poor coding compared to a more than visually stunnng call of duty 4 who would u give game of the year to
 
lol, I promised to join the clan and though i put the [cf] tag there and played alittle bit, i ended up selling it. :eek: I like TF2 so much better.

id have to disagree i found cod 4 better for visuals al the explosions helicopters battles et etc crysis looks ok, but tthats all it is ok, comparing what kind of system u need to run it aswell. singelplayer also has to go to cod4

Your GTX could run Crysis pretty damn smoothly on high. Personally, I have to disagree with the explosions in COD4, the Crysis ones you can actually feel (if you know what I mean).COD4 Multiplayer is still the *second* greatest thing on Earth though.

dont get me wrong my GTX plays crysis with everything on very high, it just doenst feel like it was coded to cod 4's quality, the fps i was getting on cod4 maxxed out was outstanding, aswell as being visually gorgeous, all round i much preferred to whack the cod 4 cd into my drive

u say crysis hands down, but by the looks of it call of duty 4 is not only winning hands down but demolishing crysis and makin it look like it never existed lol

Ehh..not sure about COD4 graphics. They're good, but I don't think it can stack up to the how realistic Crysis looks (before you go into the giant alien thing where everything turns fake). And as for singleplayer, both aren't that great, not compared to HL2, but I still think Crysis comes out ontop. It almost seems to be that COD4 was made solely to be a multiplayer game, as single player was so short.
 
Yeah the beginning of Crysis with th lush forest environment make Crysis the best. COD4's blurring effects are amazing too, trying to simulate what happens when a large explosion exploding near you, but the graphics overall is not as good as Crysis. But the its pretty hard to compare because Crysis is in a natural environment and COD4 is set in the city. The graphics on the plane level is pretty bad, it looks really ancient.
 
Call of Duty 4 FTW :D

yeah i played the demo of crysis on my X800GTO and it was terrible lag, even on lowest settings with 640/something resolution...

but then COD4 came along and i could play medium settings, and it looked great!
 
I voted for CoD4 because, well....My card can just barly run that at the lowest settings and 640x480 res :P

I know, It's pathetic really :(
