HyperTransport refers to the faster means of information between devices, memory, and the cpu. This offers a wider bandwidth for data transfer there. The 3500+ run on the Socket 939 board here is still 2.24ghz stock with 200mhz seen as the top bios setting. 200x2=400mhz dual channel processed by the 2ghz HT on the same model board. Now to get the FX 60 dual core model! :D

I would like to see your 939 3500+ that runs at 2.4ghz stock. The 3500+ is at 2.2ghz. The 3800 runs at 2.4ghz

There you go again failing to "Learn how to read"! :rolleyes: Now go back and "reread" the 2point24 ghz posted not 2point4 ghz. The 939 model now used is only about 300 mhz faster then the 2point21 ghz Socket A model on the last board.
