DeadLink (D-Link, lol, that was a joke) or Lindsays Wirelesss? I mean linksys. sorry, I usually call it Lindsays becuase the first time I saw it, I thought it said Lindsay and it looked like it did so me and my friends call it that as a joke. I think I might take back the Dead Link (D-Link) and get a linksys. I call D-Link "Dead Link" because it never works right. I had a router before and the internat connection was low most of the time or it cut out. I have a new one and it dosen't work at all. Won't go past "Starting Network." I keep getting "Error: 109 internal error." It's basically pretty much dead. So it earns the nickname "Dead Link." I created that not too long ago.

I prefer Linksys or Buffalo routers. They are the better ones in my opinion. I have had a Linksys for a few years running third party firmware (DD-WRT) and it has been running flawlessly for those 2 years.

Linksys FTW. Easy to set up, and my WRT54GS has been through all that 6 computer on gaming at the same time torture and it's running great! [the only problem now is the dsl itself ]

Ive been running D-link all along and never had a problem. I'm hardwired into the router, and my brothers desktop and a laptop are wireless. Even on (G) wireless, we manage 3 connections. ((2 online fps Battlefield 2)and a normal connection on the laptop at the same time with no lag.)

Will be upgrading to (N) wireless next month, with the DIR-625. currently running DI-624.

Most cheap routers are just that... Few low-end routers are worth purchasing. I have heard of many cheap Belkin's where the wifi radio has died, and many people have problems with the cheaper Linksys WRT54G. Buffalo is very nice, but I'm not too keen on their latest "cheap" router; the G-125 if I recall correctly. I've used their WHR-G54 and WHR-HP-G54 and I feel they are much better routers than their newest cheap one(performance wise and over-all quality)

I guess what I'm really getting at, if you get a router, it's best not to get the cheapest one around.
