With better games comes more hd demand

man i remember when a game was a mere 450 mb but now look at games sizes 3 gig and upwards jeez! big hd is a necessity nowdays if you want to keep up with the latest games
 
They are now putting game installs on DVDs now.... Great DOS games were measured in KB and maybe MB. Also, Windows XP is about 1 GB. My Windows Vista Beta 1 was 3.5GB!!! But also think about it. A few years ago 80GB HDDs were valuable and totally sweet and expensive. Now they are less than standard.

I couldn't fill up an 80GB and use all of that stuff if i tried. I have NO IDEA what all you guys are doing with 100's og GB on your HDD's.

I'm using 9GB of my 40GB drive, and 4GB of my 80GB drive. And i've got about everything installed that i use everyday. I only got 2 HDD's because i got one for free and wanted to use it for kicks. lol 13GB out of 120GB hehe.
 
Damn, I've got 400Mb free on my 120Gb... Juust enough to boot, lol. Keep having to delete cookies, and temp internet files and crap. I've got like, 20Gb of music, 40GB of TV shows and game movies I've recorded, and the rest are apps. You know KOTOR II is like, 4.5Gb or some crazy crap.
 
I have 3 gigs left in my 40 gig hrad drive. I cant figure out what is taking up all the space because it is spread across 10 thousand folders and a trillion 50 kilobyte word documents lol I'm gonna reinstall windows just to get some space on my hard drive.

haha i had to go that when i had 410k left on my 40GIG before. now i have a 120GB.

The game Keen thats in my sig is only around 500k and its a great game :) just install the sweet old DOS and windows 3.1 games.

and was a thread really nessisary for this?
 
wow i am only using about 15 gigs of my 80 gig hd. I have about 4 gigs of music and i dont really know wat i use my other 11 gigs for, probably apps. I dont know really. O yea and battlefield 2 is something like 1.8 or so gigs.
