wm 10:cant get dd sound out, why?

i have windows media player 10 and whenever i played a dvd i used to get DD (dolby digital) sound coming out, now i dont. so i went to option>dvd>advance then i get this wondow poping out saying properties 'ffdshow audio' now it doesnt have a s/pdif so i cant get digital sound. is there anyway i can get back to play dd on winmedia 10? i do have other media players to play dvd but i just want to figure this out.

ok basically winmedia 10 using ffdshow audio decoder instead winmedia 10 decoder, i need to get winmedia 10 decoder back.
