WMP automatically dling songs??

I have noticed an odd occurrence in my WMP11...it seems that random songs and artists are appearing in my library. I have never heard of these artists and songs, no one else uses my computer, and I do not have any download software running. I can't figure it out, I continue to delete them as they appear (I actually liked one song...) but I just don't need random music on my PC.

Any ideas?

Could it be music that was already on your computer?

On windows XP I know you got 1 song by a man I cant remember, but the song did stick in my head, a snipit of the 9th symphony by beathoven (I think it was that one).

Also alot of programmes have mp3 files that they run in the programme either as backing tracks or in the credits in games and at other such times, if you do a search using wmp it often picks these up.

Other than that I have no idea.

That is another type of malware to harass you.

Download this freeware file browser:

www.freeCommander.com

Go to Program Files folder and click on it. It will show the files inside.
Rename the folder Windows Media Player to some other name using F2.

Download this freeware video player, it it better than WMP:

www.videolan.org
