WMP10 codec problem

Some videos that I view on Windows Media Payer 10, just play the audio and not the visual part. It says 'Error downloading codec'. Help please!!

where are you getting these videos from? if its from a p2p program, it happens to me to, not sure what to do about that though. So if you could tell us where the video is coming from, then we can help you out even more.

ya I downloaded it off Limewire.

update ur player from the microsoft website using windows update

use video lan player, it will install all the codecs needd.

i have that problem all the time from downloading movies from limewire, not sure exactly why, but i always thought that it was just a problem with the file.
