For some reason I try to open Windows Media Player 11 and it doesn't open unless I right click and "Run as Administrator" (using VISTA).. It just sits there like I never clicked on it.

Also I am having problems with my GOM Player (video player) and when i play it, it shows the video but it says audio codec missing and doesn't play any audio but when I play on VLC Player its totally fine..

What is wrong? Help please!

What version of Windows are you running? XP or Vista? If you still have XP on the system there go into the add/remove programs>add/remove Windows compoments section and uncheck WMP. This will see the bad install removed fast. For XP use the WMP 10 works far better while bot quite havin the new Vista "look".

If Vista you would to uninstall WMP 11 for the reinstall there. That would also explain the audio problem seen with GOM. Many desktop programs will require an updated version of that software or an alternative. For a questionable and not exactly accurate compatiility list of games and apps that are supposedly able to run on Vista, http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Software_Compatibility_List

Pretty sure he said vista in the second sentance.

VLC has most of the codecs required for playback built into the program. I'm unfamiliar with GOM so I don't know if it's the same way or not. If not you may have to find what codec is missing (gSpot) and install it or if it does have all its codec's built in the install could be borked, suggest re-installing/re-downloading or it is just possible "GOM" is not compatible with Vista (much like most programs available now).

Not too familiar with vista but it sounds like a permissions problem. Do you have any special groups/users setup to use the computer or just administrator & default (being you)?

English is the main language here please.

No it wouldn't, that actually doesn't explain anything. 1 program malfunctioning by not opening will most likely have nothing to do with another program being able to play video and no audio and another program being able to play both.

Codec problems can be easily fix by installing CCCP, Just do a search on google. But you have to uninstall all the other codec that you have installed. i am using the same codec pack in vista and it has no problem. Just make sure you read the forums on CCCP and followed the instructions for the settings.
