Hi guys,

I just recently purchased a MSI R6870 Twin Frozr II Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity.

I bought this off Newegg as well and with many suggestions I picked up a CORSAIR PSU CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 V2 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

My question is, will the graphics card run smoothly with the new PSU upgrade? As well, will my motherboard Intel Core I3 550 @ 3.20 be able to handle it?

I have a few stats on my computer listed below

Windows 7 Home Premium
Manufacture Gateway
Intel Core (i3 CPU @ 550 @ 3.2GHZ
4GB DDR RAM
1 TB HD

Will this Comp be able to embrace my new PSU And graphics card upgrade with open arms?

Thanks for your time,

Scottymo

as long as the mobo has an open pcie x16 slot, which that looks like it should, and the case has a good amount of room, then it should go good together with the rest of your computer.
