Wondering about heat

Hey,

I was wondering how the stock heatsink on the AMD Phenom 955 is? i'm getting mine soon and i won't be overclocking it. Should I invest to get a better one. I got a good case the antec 902.

Does the cooler master V8 fit on a AM3 socket, it doesn't specify on the site?
BTW I'm putting a AMD Phenom II X4 955 if you need it to know?

Yes, the AM2/AM2+ and AM3 all have the same socket heatsink bracket. The socket itself, the only difference is AM2/+ have 940 pin holes and the AM3 has 938. On the V8 you have to use its own bracket anyway.
