wondering what CPU I can upgrade to

As far as I can remember the XP Athlon 3000 with a 333 FSB was the fastest CPU that would run on that chipset, that is if the board bios is new enough.
 
Yes you'd need a CPU with a FSB (HT) speed of 200/266mhz. As long as it says it's a S462 or a Socket A and it has a FSB (HT) of the above it will work.

The performance increase won't be so great though, and as such i recommend thinking about a new build..
