wont boot wen usb is in use

ok if i have my mp3 player or my camera plugged in when i try to boot my computer it just wont boot like it wont freeze itle just stay in the bios but up part so can some one help me out with this

Change the boot setup in the bios, change it to boot of the DVD drive and then the hard drive, disable everything else.

I had a friend that had this same problem, and that is what i had to change and fixed
