Hi, im having a problem getting windows xp to start. It happened when the builders without warning cut the power in the house. My computer was still on, since then it has not started. It will load the original boot screen then produces the error screen saying we aploigise for the inconvinience but windows did not start succesfully. A recent hardware or software change may have caused this. It the gives me 5 options; Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt, Last Known Good Configuration, Start Windows Normally. It then does it count down. Now no matter which of these 5 options i choose the same thing happens. It goes on to the Windows Xp Splash screen with the loading bar then half way through it just resets and i go back to the start again. Any ideas anyone. thanks chris
