Wooden comp case

I'm new to the forum (subscribers) so excuse me if this is a stupid question but has anyone ever thought to make their own case out of lightweight strong wood
honestly i think itd be kinda cool to bea ble to put absolutly whatever you wanted in your case and me not being the best with metal work
anyways any input?

i know someone was working on one on another forum made out of maple or cherry, its just another computer case, only requirements are you use a removable metal motherboard tray, i think hard drive racks are a good idea too(to be made out of metal i mean)

alright well if i ever get my junked computer back ill change the parts out from that case to a wooden one hand made and ill take pics too

That would be sweet to make it very natural looking. Instead of having the outside be all smooth and flat, have it have the hand carved look.
