Working on a horse racing game, need input.

Do all its hooves leave the ground while its running? looks pretty interesting, how will it be played?

Basically, people get a starting horse with random stats or they could buy one form a 'breeder' (People will be able to breed horses to mix stats). You can train your horse so it has more stamina or speed and some other things. Racing wise, people enter their selected horse on a track. Before the game starts people can come in and bet. Once the the race starts it's all stat based with random chance. Everyone can view the race even if they don't have a horse entered or didn't place any bets.
