worst virus

haha yeah go the fire fox. my sisters computer had a virus a few months ago and so she took it to the repair place. they said they fixed it and said that FIREFOX ITSELF WAS THE VIRUS!!!! HAHA. lol I had a look to see what they had done all they did was reformat it! riped off....

i don't know if i was effected by a virus or just hardware malfunction (but the chances for that are slim) but i was on hotmail.com and i received an email about me being under arrest for breaking copywrite laws. i open it and it starts speaking of that i am under arrest and someone will escort me out of my house. but just as i close the IE on my top right hand corner you see a man laughing and my computer totally freezes and i had to reboot by disconnecting the power cable (appearently the power button had no effect) and by the time i turn it on it says a message about my harddrive unable to boot. so i put in my windows XP home edition CD and by the time i got to choose my partition it didn't detect my hardrive at all.i also notice that when my computer boots it also didn't detect my harddrive. so to me i think thats the worst virus there is and if it wasn't a virus well that sucks for me.

i think those trojans back in the win98-2000 era that used to just run a deltree sucked the most. It just deletes everything until it gets to your boot sector or system files...

That old msn one (not really a virus) that changed the message to random things like 'Im horny' and 'I love the way you say that' was realllly annoying because it took me ages to figure out what was happening!!

Haha, that's pretty funny actually.
I read about a virus that starts to randomly (and very quickly) open new browsers, over and over, non stop until your computer doenst have enough memory to handle it and just kind of crashes. I def. don't think that's the worse though.

I've had a virus similar to that, but it opened lots of WINDOWS,(not browsers) very quickly and on top of that I couldn't even access START or anything else after it boots up! It wasn't very funny... my friend whom I considered the "computer god" told me there wasn't anything else I could do but reformat. And that was a week-old brand new laptop!:(

Well since I've only gotten 1 virus on my machine it was still really annoying. The sasser virus wasnt "bad" just really annoying, this was back when I didnt use firewalls and i didnt patch my comp. Still to this day the second you connect to the i-net without the sasser patch, you get it instantly.

The worst one that I have had (and the only one in a long long time) is the Win32.IRCBot, which causes the computer to randomly reboot. Avast has a really hard time finding it.
